The 2005 Black Sea Security Program took place from March 31 through April 12, hosting 20 Regional Representatives and 16 US Participants. The regional delegation began the program in Ankara, Turkey on March 31, for a two-day seminar on regional security and Turkish foreign security policy. On April 2 the Regional Participants arrived at Harvard University, where they united with their American counterparts for an intense 5 day curriculum at the Kennedy School of Government. The topics focused on issues ranging from civil-military relations to the global war on terrorism. From Harvard the Regional Delegation continued to Washington, DC, for three days with meetings at the Pentagon, National Security Council, FBI, and a round table discussion group at the Center for Defense Information.
