BLACK SEA SECURITY PROGRAM 2008

2008 Black Sea Security Program took place from on April 6-19, hosting 20 regional representatives and 16 US Participants. The regional delegation began the program in Belrade, Serbia on April 6-8, for a two-day seminar on regional security and Serbia foreign policy after Kosovo independence. After that the delegates went to Garmish, Germany were they have security briefings at USEUCOM on April 9-11. On April 12 the regional participants arrived at Harvard University, where they united with their American counterparts for an intense 5 day curriculum at the Kennedy School of Government. The topics focused on issues ranging from civil-military relations to the global war on terrorism.
